Abstract
Liver damage is spreading widely in the world and the goal of this work is to demonstrate the efficiency of some natural antioxidants for the treatment of liver damage.
Forty male albino wistar rats (weight range 85-160g) were used for the experimental study. Experimental animals were divided into 8 groups of 5 rats each, group1(control rats) received basal diet and water ad libitum, group 2 received TCE (5% in drinking water), group 3 received curcumin at 1g/kg , group 4 received TCE (5% in drinking water) curcumin at 1g/kg, group5 received cinnamon at 1g/kg, group 6 received TCE (5% in drinking water) cinnamon at 1g/kg, group7 received ginger at 1g/kg, group 8 received TCE (5% in drinking water) ginger at 1g/kg.
