Abstract
Trimethoprim- Sulfamothoxuzole combination is official in many pharmacopoeiae. The relatively
low aqueous sol ubilities of the two drugs suggest that their absorption across the gaatro-intestinal mucoaa would be dissolution rate limited. Most of the work done on this combination was concerned with the pharmacokinetic and the pharmacodynamic studies .
