Abstract
The El-Wastani filed is one of the most prolific for oil and gas sedimentary in the Nile Delta of Egypt. Which located between ( latitudes 28o 41’ 19” to 28o 47’55” N and longitudes 34o 36’ 38” to 34o 32’34” E. It is attracted the attention of geologists and geophysicists for oil and gas investigation and exploration This is due to the huge subsurface sedimentary section exists in the area which include considerable reservoir rocks within the Abu-Madi Formation. However, potential source rocks have been encountered within the Sidi-Salem formation.
