Abstract

Abstract
In this study total of (360) marine fishes of three deferent species that were represented as: Sparus aurata, Siganus rivulatus, and Tilapia zillii randomly collected from Lake Temsah at Ismailia governorate from April 2011 to March 2012. The clinical picture of the diseased fishes was recorded. One hundred and sixty fishes were found to be infected with different types of bacterial species, of which (126) fish were infected with Gram negative bacteria and (34) fishes were infected with Gram positive one. (42.5%) of the total infected fishes were positive to A. hyDROPhila, (36.25%) for Ps.flourescens, and (21.25%) for Enterococcus fecalis. Sparus aurata was the most infected fish spp (75), followed by Siganus rivulatis (55), while Tilapia zilli was the lowest infection (30). The results indicated that, the highest total prevalence of bacterial diseases among the naturally infected marine fishes was recorded in the summer season (38.12%), followed by autumn (26.25%), then spring (20.62%), while the minimal prevalence of infection was recorded in winter (15%). The histopathological studies of naturally infected marine fishes showed severe inflammatory reactions in different organs with leukocyte infiltration and necrosis.
