Abstract Avian influenza represents one of the greatest concerns forpublic health that has emerged in recent years. In this study the obtained results were as: 1- Serum samples from 31 non- vaccinated chickens flocks indicated: 11 AI (H5N I) positive flocks by ELISA and HI, and these 11 flocks were retested by RT-PCR using 210 tracheal swabs which confirmed positive results. 2-Serum samples from 12 vaccinated chickens flocks by ELl SA and HI tests 235 serum samples were analyzed and 11 flocks gave positive result with mean titer ranged from (607.22: 2069.62). with percentage 34.37%. Experimentally vaccination program among chickens were carried out by grouping chickens in 7 groups and the results of vaccination were as following: 2 weeks post vaccination GMHI titer of the I” group was (2.9), 2nd group was (4.6), 3rd group was (3.6) ,4th group was (2.S) , the s” group was (4.3) and e” group was (6.09). 3 weeks post vaccination GMHI titer of the l ” group was (zero), 2nd group was (4) , 3rd group was (8.1) ,4th group was (3.2) , the 5th group was (9.4) and 6th group was (8.4) . |
