Abstract
Aphids and weed plants are considered among the most serious pests of different plants in Egypt as well as all over the world. Many species from both are common as major pests attacking economic fruit trees, vegetable and crop plants as hosts. In the same time, aphids associated with weed plants as secondary hosts within seasons. whereby, the weed plants are considered the resting hosts for aphids in the same time are considered the main sources for infesting and disperse to economic plants by aphids and other insect pests and/or primary hosts for other pests.In Egypt, the lack in information and literatures of aphid fauna on weed plants attracted our attention to such work.According to the available, there has not been much study of biology and ecology of U. sonchi. Therefore, more research is needed to elucidate the effect of different high temperature on aphid species.
