Abstract Most of the large cities have infrastructures that are not working effectively, either because of aging or due to its low capability to fulfill the needs now and in the future. Among which Sewage network is the most important infrastructures as it has an environmental and hygienic role. Montazah sewage network is the case study which is not fulfilling the needs now; especially in the wet weather flow therefore it won’t be able to fulfill its demands in the future. Data was collected by using as built drawings. Accordingly; the existing sewage network module had been built; putting in consideration seasonal effect, wet weather flow and dry weather flow, population densities and distribution. Four hydraulic scenarios had been adopted to solve the problem in the meantime and the future 2037. Replacing; supporting with new sewage lines, replacing the pipes but keeping the existing manholes and using several pump stations. Multi-criteria analysis has been adopted to find out the best scenario in thesis case study that should be applied in the future. |
