Abstract Fish farming is one of the main protein sources that can be relied on for food security, there are a lot of problems facing fish farming like environmental pollution. The heavy metals have been considered one of the major environmental pollutants such as Cupper (Cu) and Cadmium (Cd). Cupper (Cu) and Cadmium (Cd) which, accumulate in tissues and organs of fish and influence its immune system and many other physiological functions. In the current study we investigated the neutralization effect of the probiotic biowish on Cu and Cd toxicity. The study was carried out on Nile Tilipia (Oreochromis niloticus) at El Abassa ponds. Fish of weight ranged from 40-S0gmJ weigh and IS- 2S cm length, were treated with three different concentrations O.S, 1 and I.S gm probiotic biowish per Kg of fish diets for three months expect the control group. Fish were divided into 4 groups of forty five fish. Each group of fish distributed in three glass aquaria of (100 x 40 x SOcm). The aquaria were supplied with dechlorinated aerated tap water at pH 7.2±0.2 and dissolved oxygen S.O±O.S mg/I. Temperature was 26°C ± 1°C. The temperature and oxygen were adjusted. Cd was used in form of Cd-acetate 2 hydrate at dose of 4mg/l, which is equal to 1I50f LCso for 96-hr and cupper was used in form of Cu-sulphate-5hydrate at dose of l mg/L, which is equal to liS of LCso |
