Abstract The unstable Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) problem is addressed when choosing a route from the source to the sink. In this thesis, an Optimized Mobile Radio Aware (OMRA) routing algorithm is proposed. It nominates multi-routes and then prioritizes them using a weight selection method in order to detect the optimal route between the source and the sink. The OMRA routing algorithm is used to recover a network from losing the connection due to node failure. A general non-linear programming model is suggested in the design of OMRA to achieve maximum information flow rate with minimum total energy usage under some constraints. The results show that OMRA achieves the optimal flow rate and energy and realizes higher data delivery rate, lower protocol overhead, and lower transmission delay than traditional routing algorithms. |
