Abstract

In this research, the effect of high temperature on columns without strengthening by FRB and the effect of high temperature on columns strengthen by FRB on strips and totally in different heating degree and different period of heating was studied. Also protect FRB against high temperature by using mortar and cement paste as concrete cover and using heat insulation (Rockwool) on strips and totally was studied.
In this research, columns divided into two sizes. The first size consists of 10 groups some of them are strengthened by FRP on strips and the others are totally strengthened by FRP , however the effect of period of heating , heating degree , effect of fire protection by using mortar and cement paste as concrete cover and using heat insulation (Rockwool) was studied.
