Abstract Cotton plantation is one of the most economic ones in Egypt. Cotton plants are infested with many pests such as cotton leaf worm, boll worms and spider mites, At the and of season, certain damages occur due to the heavy infestation of spider mite. It is knovm that the low dosages of some aoaricides affect the fecundity, hatchability of eggs and longevity of mobile stages. Therefore the present study was conducted to evaluate: 1) The effect of seven pesticides on the toxicity of two spotted spider mite Tetran.,x:2_hu~ ,c:i,lmabs.rinus (Boisd,) for the different susceptible st[,e;cs and the effect of treatment of each stage on susceptibility of the subsequent stage, a, Egg stage: According to the Lc50, slope and MLc50 , the results of toxicity showed that JF-609JA and dicofol are the most toxic compounds while kilval is the least toxic whether against lab colony-eggs or against eggs deposited from previous treated adult. b. Nymph stage & JF-609JA and dioofol are again the most effective compounds while kilvs.l still the least toxic one .• 64 - against nymphs from lab-colony or those produced from previous treated eggs. o, Adult stage: Data declared that the aoarioides vary to a great deal in their effect, Dioofol and JF-609JA being the most effective by contact followed by dimethoate and folimat while tamaron and kilval are the least effective acaricides, Based on molar 0onoentration (MLc 50 ) the same trend of pesticidal pot~noy is observed with slight variation where JF-609JA ’’eoame the superior compound instead of dioofol, P is rather interest to nota that there is no sirpifi or’1~ variation between the susceptibility of adult let-colony or those adults developed from pre-treated nymphs to the tested compounds, 2) Biological tests: a.
