Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using different concentrations of abamectin and spinosad on fourth instar of
the cotton leafworm, Spodoptera littoralis (Boisd.), in addition to the use
of sublethal concentrations and their relationship to biological
effects, which appear on the insect after treatment. Our studies aimed also
to study of some physiological effects, which occur as a result of treatment
the fifth instar of cotton leafworm with field and subfeild concentrations of
abamectin and spinosad under field conditions to estimate the rate
of destruction of the pesticide as a result of exposure to weather conditions.
On the other hand, the histopathological effects in midgut of fifth instar
larvae of cotton leafworm as a result of treatment with field and subfeild
concentration of abamectin and spinosad.
