Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of using different concentrations of abamectin and spinosad on fourth instar of the cotton leafworm, Spodoptera littoralis (Boisd.), in addition to the use of sublethal concentrations and their relationship to biological effects, which appear on the insect after treatment. Our studies aimed also to study of some physiological effects, which occur as a result of treatment the fifth instar of cotton leafworm with field and subfeild concentrations of abamectin and spinosad under field conditions to estimate the rate of destruction of the pesticide as a result of exposure to weather conditions. On the other hand, the histopathological effects in midgut of fifth instar larvae of cotton leafworm as a result of treatment with field and subfeild concentration of abamectin and spinosad. |
