Abstract
The current study was conducted throughout 1994-1996 at the experimental farm of rice research and training center,Sakha,Egypt,and laboratory of entomology,faculty of agriculture, Kafr El-Sheikh,Tanta university to investigate the following items:1-Seasonal abundance of rice the leaf miner,and rice stem borer.2-Rice leaf miner damage as affected by certain cultural practices:date of sowing,plant density,fertilizers,and water regime.30Relativee susceptibility of rice entries to rice leaf miner and rice stem borer.4-Some bioliogical aspects of rice leaf miner.
