Abstract
The main objectives of the present study are:1-Isolation and cultivation of S.citri.2-Identification of the casual agent by dark ,field light microscopr,electron microscopy,dienes,stain,serologically(ELISA)and biologically by grating.3- Preparation of anti S.citriserum.4-The efficiency of different serological technique i.e,the agglutination test,ElISA, double get diffusion test,and crossed immunoelectropheresis in the detection of S.citri.5-Some factors affecting growth of S.citri.6-The effect of the disease on physical and chemical fruit quality of cirtus trees.
