Abstract
This thesis presents ecological studies on predators such as hippodamia convergens guer (coleoptera) and chrysopa carnea steph (neuroptera ) and preys such as aphid species (hemiptera) the present study was carried out in Qena governorate (610km,south of cairo) with sweep net for rwo successive years (march 2007 to february 2009).Two Predators and three preys species belonging to three families were studied.these families are Coceenillidae,Chrysopidae and Aphididae .The first predator species was Hippodamia convergens Guer.of family Coccinelidae was illustrated and the second predator species was Chrysopa carnea Steph.belonging to family Chrysopidae.However family Aphididae comprised three preys species which were Aphis Faba Scopoli Aphis gossypii Glover and Myzus persicae Sulzer.The totalcatches of predators and preys were 39588 individuals.THE Obtained results indicated that most abuundant preys species was Aphis gossypii Glover of which 25195 individuals was collected.
