Abstract
cytomegalovirus Infection of old children and adults is
quite widespread but usually asymptomatic. The virus causes
serious illness in Lmmuno-cc ompr om l s ed patients and congentially
infected neonates.
This study was planned to know the presence of the
cytomegalovirus antibodies in six groups of apparently
healthy indi viduals, the sera of 329 persons were the subject
of this study.
