Abstract
To clarify the possible effects of bee wax and sugar cane wax on the
hepatointoxication, rats were injected with CcL4, and then fed either on the basal
diet or on basal diet plus 5% wax. Also the effect of some additives, that
previously suggested to ameliorate hepatointoxication was studied via feeding
trials using diets containing 2.5% bee wax or 2.5% sugar cane wax with 2.5% of
either Sweet potato, pouri roe, cod liver oil and rice bran. Feeding experiment
lasted for 28 days.
