Abstract
The main objectives of the present study are :1-To evaluate the border and furrow surge irrigation systems and different land levelling practices under the conditions of the heavy clay soils in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate.2-To improve efficiency of the surface irrigation and water saving.3- To define the best surge flow furrow and border irrigation practices for corn and wheat crops owing to optimize the water utilization efficiency.4-To evaluate the impact of surge flow irrigation on some soil hyDROPhysical properties.
