Abstract In the present work, the incidence of Brucella infection in EI-· Fayoum Governorate, Egypt among human and food animals (cattle, buffaloes, sheep and goats) were detected by traditional (Rose Bengal test) and recent SPA-ELl SA. Detection of omp2 gene; the characteristic gene for Brucella spp also was applied by peR method from blood of suspected animals and human. Clarified the resu Its of brucellosis among an i mals detected by RBT and SPA-ELISA it was clear from this table that the results of both tests were nearly the same. Out of 25 cattles 15(60.00%) and 14(56.000/0) were positive for brucellosis by RBT and SPA. |
