Abstract
Out of 170 examined fish (O.niloticus) harbour different pecies of Gram-positive bacteria Streptococcus iniee, Enterococcus faecalis, Enterococcus faecium, and Enterococcus seriolicida with an incidence of 100%, 36.4%, 31.8% and 31.8% respectively and Staphylococcus aureus 52.4% and Staphylococcus epidermidis 47.5% . The activity of various chemotherapeutic agents against some members of Streptococcus , Enterococcus and Staphylococcus species were tested.
