Abstract
The study risk factors for cesarean delivery at presentation of nulliparaus women in labor.The aim of the study was to identify risk factors that place a Term primigravidae patient in labor at high risk for cesarean delivery and to build a model for predicting a patient risk.This prospective cohort study include180primigravidae in labor who admitted at department of obstetrics and Gynecology at Menoufiya University Hospitals.Inclusion criteria was: Age 18-35 years. Primigravidae. Full term. Vertex presentation. Single fetus. In spontaneous labor.Patient followed during first stage of labor till delivery and monitored by intermittent fetal heart rate auscultation and vaginal examination at time of admission and after two hours. State of membrane was recorded (ruptured or intact), the time for rupture of membrane, cervical effacement, dilation and fetal head state was recorded at time of admission and after two hours.
