Abstract

from 202 chicks 105 alive , 26 slaughtered and 71 dead chickens from mashtoul El-Kady, Meet Abou Ali, El-Samaana and El-Epralimia 118 were positive.
The obtained data proved that the total incidence of these microorganisms was 58.41% as 387 isolates were obtained from 836 samples with a total percentage of 46.26% out of them were 180 E. coli in (46.51%) , 58 were salmonella (14.99%) 53 were proteus (13.63%) , 44 were klebsiella (11.37%) and 46 were enterobocter and citrobacter in (6.72%) for each.
Incidence percentage in chicks aged one day old was (75%) as 96 isolates were obtained 40 out of them were E. coli (41.67%) , 20 were salmonella (20.83%) , 13 were proteus (13.54%) , 9 were klebsiella and citrobacter (9.37%) for each and 5 were enterobacter (5.21%) while incidence percentage in broiler chicks was (60.71%) and 174 isolates were obtained 100 out of them were E. coli with a percentage of (57.47%) , were salmonella (8.62%), 13 were proteus (7.47%) , 22 were klebsiella (6.90%) , 14 were enterobacter (8.04%) and 10 were citrobacter (5.75%).
