Abstract
Simple and dominent nature of inheritance of wide compatibility would enable easy incorporation into varities .Incorporation of diverse nueteral alleles into abreeding line shoud help solve the problem of hybrid sterility in the wide crosses,therefore the objectives of this study are :
1-Evaluation of some rice genotypes in Egypt for the presence of wide comptibility (WC)trait.
2- Estimation the inheritance of wide compatibility trait.
