Abstract Three field experiments were conducted at bxperiulerstal Station of the Paculty of Agriculture , K a f r hl-Sheikh, l’mta University during two seasons of 1983/ 84 a d 19~4/05 to study some factors a affecting growth fowering and corms and cormels production of gladiolus cvs. Peter Pears and Aerovision, The object of the first experment was to study the effect of corms planting depth, plat , spacings ’and different levels of nitro - genous fertilization . The second was to investigate the effect of corm size, low temperature at different periods of cold storage and soaking corm in ethephon solution as methods $or breaking dormancy. |
