Abstract
the present investigation is one f the attempts to obtain more comprehensive information about the effect of water- in - oil emulsions on the soot concentration, the gas tempreature, the flame length, the total heat transfer to the wall and the combustion efficiency along a flame tube of a practical size. the tube is fired by an industrial burner with different percentages of water - in - oil emulsions and constant air - fuel ratio.
