This study tries to determine the optimal piaming for ‘iculturai production or the optimal crop combination in u tieg county of Assiut governorate The optima], crop corn— rtti0n is the one associated with maximum net national rjcultural ineonte and with nest efficient allocation of
resources in agricultural industry of Abu tieg. Xt is ped that the optimal planning for agricultural production &lould be of help in reallocating agricultural resources. L*is reallocation should be of help in such a way to achieve
increase agricultural income In Abu tieg county by using
techniq43 of linear programing method.
