Abstract
Cantaloupe is one of the most important commercial vegetable, in egypt. Some of the varieties have good reeping quality and attempts have been made to export the fresh for human consumption to some european countries. Fast cooling of cantaloupes after direct harvesting and during shipment at the proper temperatures increases the life storage and quality.
