Abstract
A total number of 107 native breed goats of both sexes and 1 - 3 years age were included in this investigation. br The animals were classified into foLlowing groups:Group I included (42 and 14) clinically healthy goats br and subdievided into: a br Fourty-two goats were fed dry ration (summer time).. br b) Fourteen goats were fed green ration (winter time). br Group II fourteen goats were offered ad-libitum quantities of crushed sorghum. br Group III fourteen goats were offered ad-libitum quantities of crushed wheat. br Group IV fourteen goats were offered ad-libitum quantities of wheat flour br Group V Nine goats were used for intra-ruminal acidosis for each animal succharose was used in a dose of 20 gm/kg br B.W. br -#102;-#114;-#111;-#109; each animal two blood samples were obtained.
