Abstract
Mex bay, Which is an important fishing ground to the West of Alexandria, is the recipient of two outfalls, a chlor-alkali effluent discharging an average of 30×10³m³day-¹wast water and a pumping station at the outlet of umum drain canal discharging an average of 6×10 m³day-¹
the latter drains agricultural seepage water mixed with maryut lake water.
