Prosody and rhyme science has an important role in the meter of Arabic poetry. To show whether its right or not.
The progress of learner in his study, his understanding for Arabic science, understanding its poetry will not be done unless he acquires to skills of prosody and rhyme which is interrelate with the school books for this science.
To perfect the skills of prosody and rhyme; that needs a means for the student to acquire these skills-and developing it in a way that facilitate its difficulties. The school book of prosody and rhyme which is set for the second year secondary stage at Al-Azhar Institutes has a special importance which is derived from the importance of Arabic language, not only as a school subject but as, a helping means to understand the poetry meter and to read it correctly to distinguish between its good and bad.
The school book as well as the instructor, is an impressive factor on the student, and on the educational process, its influence on student is not only developing thinking but it spread, to other physical, moral, social and spiritual sides.
If this was the position of the school book as an effective factor on student, so its importance as an effective factor in the educational process, is obvious as it is not only a helping means in teaching but also it is the corner stone in teaching process and which is used in teaching as means of understanding. The school book and others will remain as the most important sources of education in spite of spreading different means of education.
Hence, the evaluation of book which is the study topic is an urgent necessity aiming to achieve goals which will support the strengthen points and avoiding the weakness points.
The problem of study
Arabic books At Al-Azhar secondary stage had been develop d but the others hadn’t been developed among those, ”Allubab in prosody and rhyme” in the second year secondary at Al-Azhar institutes which has been teaching for students more than 30 years.
When this book is found in the educational field and students handed it as a new one in the middle of the secondary stage which not developed for ages, so its evaluation became a must to realize what is against and for it and to realize the places of strength to develop it, as well as the drawbacks to be avoided and over come it, to introduce the book in the best picture, to achieve the aims through which the book, is set.
