Abstract In this work allergic tuberculin tests for the det¬ection of tuberculosis among oattle ( buffaloes & oows ) in Sharkia Governarate wait oarried out. The animals subjeoted to the study in this work were of three groups, Group (A) consists of 218 buffaloes and 43 cows. (48) ,his lowering incidence maY due to the periodical applic¬ation of the test &, slaughter of reactors as a constant policy of the governmental farms. All reactors to the tuberculin tests were of en old age while those giving doubtful reactions were of younger ages. Tubercle bacilli were discovered in 3 of 7 sputum samples denOting to en open lesions and the main infected system was the respirator,y one &, no bacilli could be det- ected in their urine samples. Examination of blood constituents in those reacting buffaloes to the singl.e comparative tuberculin test rev¬eal-ed leucocytosis. neutropenia &, lYmPhOcytol’is. Tbere is no influence or changes in the blood constituents observed as a result of injecting the tuberculin material either in r~acting or non reao~ing animals. |
