Abstract
Acyclonucleosides are a group of nucleosides that differ from the ribonuleosides by the absence of the ring structure of the pentosylresidue.The general feature of the important members of this class of nucleosides is the absence of one or more of the bonds of the pentose moiety to give an open-chain residue.
