Abstract
In this Work we studied printing cotton and cotton/polyester fabrics with printing paste containing metal salts (zinc oxide, aluminum oxide, cobalt sulphate and nickel sulphate), in
order to bring desired antimicrobial properties to cotton and cotton
/ polyester fabrics. The antimicrobial properties were evaluated by
the measurement of tensile strength of fabrics after buring in a soil for one and three weeks.
In this work we studied also the improvement of the printing properties of printed cotton and cotton/ polyester fabrics by radiation technique, those fabrics were printed with printing
paste containing metal salts.
