Abstract
Hygiene 384) beef cattle of mixed breed and (164) buffaloes were subjected to the study. All the examined animals located in Menoufia Governorate; belonged to farms at Berket EL Saba and Quesna. Select (60) infected beef cattle that divided randomly into two groups; each consists of (30) animals. Group (1) was treated by single S/C injection of ivermectin plus 1% at a dose (200 mcg /Kg bwt). while group (2) were sprayed by using Deltamethrin (Delt-butox5%) at a dose 0.6 ml/ L. Group (3)and(4) includes 17 and 39 buffaloes infected with lice and mites respectively were treated by single dose of ivermectin plus 1% at (200 mcg / kg bwt). Skin scraping from all animals infected with mite was examined before application and at (3, 7, 14, 21) days after treatment. Group (5) and group (6) consists of (10) and (5) animals as control non infected beef cattle and buffaloes respectively.
