Abstract In view of the current world wide interest of having clean environment, searching for useful application of by-products and other waste materials of different sources become a must. Weeds and Stubble are mostly fought by collecting them mechanically and burning them in the open air. This method is considered the less harmful to the adjacent life features; however, it participates significantly to air pollution. However, limited budgets stand as an obstacle. Emergence of an economic application of these wastes can provide the required credit for this solution. WHA, as a local raw material, stands as one of enemies of watercourses. Its mechanical collection and burning is the cleanest way of fighting. Commercial application of the resulting ash can help in immediate cleaning of water courses and saving water and air media. Under controlled burning and sufficiently ground, the ash of WH produced can be used as cement replacement material in concrete. |
