STUDY FOR SOME BEHAVIORAL GUIDANCE ASPECTS RELATED TO THE EXTENSION OF SMALL INDUSTRIES IN THE COUNTRYSIDE FOR THE. FARMER’S WIVES IN NORTH SINAI
Summary
Agricultural sector is the leading sectors in the policies and programs of reform and economic liberalization and the promotion of the private sector, where the Ministry of Agriculture since its inception and through the agricultural development strategy prepared by the ministry to pursue.
Given the important role played by agriculture in the overall economic development, the countries that have achieved great economic progress during the development and adopted, especially in the early stages to achieve an abundance of food source and then used the surplus to finance development in other sectors, and the development of small agro-industries oriented to economic and social development policy in light of adaptation to a market economy and scientific developments, has paid all of its organizations and institutions since the period of interest particular the development of small agro-industries to encourage self-employment, and create new job opportunities for young people of both sexes and as the development process and contribute to the benefit of women on an equal footing with men and women, bringing the necessity requested by the development process and the need for developing countries to intensify their efforts to catch up with the march of civilization up to the world, so it is neglected

and overlooked role of women in development is a serious waste of human potential is needed, and women can contribute to development, whether from within or outside the house.
Since rural women are the guiding audiences, which accounted for nearly half the size of the public must be taken into account the role they can play in the development of rural society, as it is considered one of the indicators that can be through participation in various development programs to judge the progress and modernization of society, rural women with economic activity in all aspects of life, any increase in family income from agricultural activities in which women have a direct positive role, because the proportion of rural women working in agriculture amounted to about 78% of the total number of women in rural
Egypt.
Since rural women produce more than half of the food in developing societies, so it was necessary to work on the integration of rural women in the productive process and to encourage the establishment of small rural industries as they generate income .
The results of some studies carried out in the field of small-scale industries for rural women, these industries did not achieve the goal for which it was created, due to decrease the knowledge, practices and trends of wives of farmers on these industries, and also there are some problems faced during the implementation of these industries.
All of this was called to the need for this research in order to clarify the truth about knowledge, practices and trends of wives of farmers towards the small-scale industries in North Sinai

1 - Identify the FARMER’S WIVES, social and economic characteristics in province of North Sinai.
2- Identify the FARMER’S WIVES level of knowledge on the activities of small rural industries studied:
A - Pickling the fruits of the olive
B - Pickling the fruits Dates.
C - The manufacturing of animal food
3 - Appointing of the differences between FARMER’S WIVES knowledge regarding the activities of small rural industries studied, the pickling of olives fruits, pickling dates fruits and the manufacturing of animal food.
4 - identify the level of FARMER’S WIVES practices relating to the activities of small rural industries studied:
A - pickling the fruits of the olive
B - pickling the fruits Dates
C - The manufacturing of animal food
5 - appointing of the differences between the practices of FARMER’S WIVES regarding the activities of small rural industries studied, the fruits of pickling olives, pickling fruits and dates.

The study data were collected from a sample of 357 villagers of the three dealt with villages, of the villages of El-Arish on the Sinai governorate through the personal interview questionnaire with Sinai farmers’ wives , has already tested initially, and has been compiling, analyzing the data and then unload the study using the tabular presentation and percentages frequency, in addition to the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, as well as the Friedman test was used, and Wilcoxon to determine the differences between moral knowledge and practice of the activities of the three small
rural industries .
Studied The most important results of the study, which could be reached as follows:
- The results of the study show a significant decrease in the knowledge Sinai farmers’ wives of the recommendations of the technical fruits of pickling olives as 19.6% of the Sinai farmers’ wives are in the category of low-knowledge, and 43.1% of them are in the category of medium knowledge and 62.7% of Sinai farmers’ wives stay with knowledge of low and medium

of the recommendations for the functional benefits of olive pickling, and 37.3% of them are in the high knowledge category.
-The results of the study show a significant decrease in the practice of Sinai farmers’ wives of the recommendations of the technical benefits of olive pickling as 17.3% of Sinai farmers’ wives practice are in the category of low-, and 54.4% of them are in the category of medium-sized practice, and. 71.7% of Sinai farmers’ wives stay with the practice of low-and middle of the recommendations for the functional benefits of olive pickling, and 28.3% of them are high in practice.
-Results indicated that knowledge of the Sinai farmers’ wives of the recommendations relating to the functional benefits of pickling Dates was medium and low and that 23.5% of Sinai farmers’ wives are in the category of low-knowledge of the technical recommendations for pickling fruits of dates, and 44% of them are in the category of medium-sized knowledge of the technical recommendations, and 67.5% of Sinai farmers’ wives stay with knowledge of the Low-and middle of the recommendations relating to the functional benefits of pickling Dates, and 32.5% of them are in the high knowledge category.
-The results show that the practices of Sinai farmers’ wives of the recommendations relating to the functional benefits of pickling Dates was low, medium, since 21.6% of Sinai farmers’ wives are in the category of low-practice recommendations of the technical fruits of pickling-Dates, and 55.2% of them are in the category of Practice recommendations for the medium of art,

- In light of the results of the study demonstrated that more than half of Sinai farmers’ wives stay with knowledge of the low-and middle of the recommendations for the functional benefits of olive pickling, pickling fruits and dates, and the work of animal feed, therefore we must intensify guidance activities and guidance programs directed to Sinai farmers’ wives in order to be able to increase the knowledge of small-scale industries, and thus be modified their knowledge which enables them to implement the recommendations of these industries, the correct format that leads to improving the quality of product, therefore must be to develop planners and executors of extension programs in mind when planning outreach programs to train the future work Sinai farmers’ wives the activities of small-scale industries in the hope
of raising the productivity and merit raise the level of subsistence.
- In light of the results indicated that 40% of Sinai farmers’ wives were with the neutral and negative attitudes towards the small rural industries, which refers to the intensification of the educational guidance efforts to seek to deepen the positive trends and to amend the negative trends and neutral to be done through training programs, outreach work to provide the knowledge of Sinai farmers’ wives operating trends to strengthen the pro-small-scale industries, and also indicative that the use of devices local leaders and tribal elders who are the source of confidence in the Sinai community to redirect the Sinai farmers’ wives
directions to amend the small rural industries.
- In light of the results demonstrated the existence of some of the problems is the scarcity of mentoring programs that are interested

in small rural industries, and the lack of extension agents, and the lack of sufficient experience in the marketing of products in Sinai farmers’ wives Small-scale industries, therefore, must be intensified outreach efforts and to adopt the most appropriate solutions through the organization of training courses for Sinai farmers’ wives to gain experience in the production and
marketing of small-scale industries .
- In light of the results demonstrated the existence of problems in terms of the granting of loans must be funded by government and in particular the Social Fund to provide the needed funding and to facilitate the lending conditions in order to enable Sinai farmers’ wives the establishment of these industries and the development
of nomadic household income.
- Paying attention to future research the results of the study in the areas of similar interest in small rural industries, to have an active role of the extension organizations in providing extension services, such as the establishment of training courses, meetings and seminars Guidelines, as well as the Sinai farmers’ wives training on how to apply the right technical recommendations in the small rural industries, leading to increased production of these industries and improve the quality of the product.
