Abstract
557 samples of dead in shee ,pipped embryos and fresh eggs were collected from different balady hatcheries in Assiut provience Bacteriological examinations of samples revealed isolation of the following organism : Staph aureus 31 isolates (11.8%),Proteus mirabilis 37 isolates(14.1%),Klebsiella pneumoniae 15 isolates(5.7%),Pseudomonas aeuroginosa 28 isollates (10.7%) E.coli 10 isolates(3.8%), Citrobater freundii 9 isolates (3.4%), Citrobacter diversus 11 isolates (4.2%) ,Enterobacter sp.84 isolates (32.1%) and Mycoplasma 24 isolates (9.1%).
Serological E.coli isolates were identified as O26 K60 (B6)(1) strain,O55 K59 (B5)(3)Strains,O125 K70(B15)(1) Strain,O114 K-(B-)(1) Strain while (4) isolates were untypable.
