Abstract

morphology of sertoli and germ cells resembles in general that of other domes but species-specific differences are also obsenled. The sertoli cell nucleus sho p indentations, and its large nucleolus has nO nucleolar vesicles. There are also e accumulations of SER in the Sertoli cell cytoplasm. spermatogonia are princip d into A and B types. Some spermatogonia are not A and not B and they are na non-B spermatogonia. camel spermatocytes are characterized by very large
s which can be seen in sernithin sections in pachytene and diplotene ph’
lids are characterized by a large nucleuS (about & I’m in diameter). In mid¬a very large acrosomal vesicle indents the nuclens transfonning it inlo nearly a . The cytoplasm of acrosome and maturation phase spermatids is invaded by ocesses in a progressive manner and this may play a role in fragmentat; lion of spermatid cytoplasm prior to spermiation.
