Abstract The percent study aimed to investigate the effect of using different herbs which were azarol (Crataegus azarolus), oat( Avena sativa), lion’s foot ”lady’s mantle”( Alchmilla vulgaris) at level 10% on daily food intake , body weigh gain , feed efficiency ratio and liver weight to body weigh , serum lipid profile, liver and kidney function ,serum total protein,serum albumin &serum globulin of hypercholesterolemic rats. A total numbers of 48 male rats (g/body weight ) were used in this study. Rats were divided into 2 main groups ,the first group(1) was used as control (-) and fed on basal diet only ,the main group (2) was fed on the hyper- cholesterolomic diet (2% cholesterol) for 3 weeks to induce hypercholesterolemia and then distributed randomly into (5) groups one of them used as a control (+) ,fed on basal diet only ,while the others groups |
