Abstract
The entitled thesis studies on the physico - chemical changes of the river nile at the region from isna to el kanater el khyria egyt extends for 805 km includs three main chapters chapter I is an introductory part deals with the history of the river nile and its importance with respect to egypt and Africa contienet the effect of the aswan high dam to minimize the dischanged water to the sea compared to the longest rivers in the world was given some literatures on the river nile and lake nasser are also given from the physico chemical view points.
