Abstract This work aimed to study the alterations of these pathways during acute restraint stress by measuring some of the corresponding neuropeptied and hormones and correlating them to gastric response. The experimental design of this study employed the most re;iable model of stress application , that of restraint to a reliable model of experimental animals : male albino rats. They were allowed to fast for 24 hours before begin subjected to pyloric ligation under light ether anaesthesia for collection of their gastric juice and their tectal temperature was measured. |
