Abstract The obtained results from this investigation can be summerized as follows : 1-Two annual surveys of wheat powdery mildew incited by Blumeria graminis f sp tritici conducted in the northern governorates indicated that Kafr El-Sheikh, Gharbia , El-Behira and Damietta are hot spots to the diseases due to increased levels of humidity. 2-The obtained results indicated that Sakha 61 followed by Sakha 93 shoed high level of susceptibility. On the other hand Giza 168 and Gemmeiza 5 showed low level of susceptibility. 3-As regard to the bio-control the best treatment was recorded with Bacillus subtilies since it followed the fungicide treatment. 4-The obtained results also indicated that the highest chlorophyll content was recorded with cv Sakha 61 (%19.26) which was protected against the disease. 5- Fungicides proved their distinction for controlling powdery mildew out of six other systemic fungicides. |
