Mechanisms comprising spatial procedures to be utilized side by side with Comentional and traditional actions like the use of mass media, education, Jurisprudence, and training to put crime under control. It seems too hard, even too strange among some planners to adopt the geographical dimensions while handling some spatial issues like redrawing administrative divisions, or define hot spots of crime to control deviance. Finally, the utilization of modern technologies like geographic Information systems (GIS) and Remote sensing (RS) in addition to application of various geographical and spatial assimilation models, all are too valuable while designing crime prevention strategies. |
