Abstract
The aim of this study is to evaluate the susceptibility of C. difficile isolated from patients with AAD to Metronidazole. Isolates were referred to the Anaerobe reference unit , UK from 18 public health laboratories in UK in the time period from Jan 2004 to Dec2004. from this study we can ensure the presence of resistance in C. difficile against metronidazole but actually up to this point of research it is difficult to evaluate how serious is this problem or what is the cause or the logic explanation and hope we can contribute in finding this in our further studies.
