Abstract
The current study was designed to investigate the impact of different degree of dietary salt restriction on cirrhotic ascites patient’s clinical recovery out come.Research setting: The current study was conducted at tropical medicine department, Menofyia University Hospital.Subjects of the study: The study was conducted on a random sample of ninety participants with cirrhotic ascites they were divided alternatively into three equally group each of thirty participants of either salt restriction at 4gm per day or 2 gm per day or kept on hospital routine basis, all of the three studied groups were matched as regard to age ascites.
