Abstract

Structure of the acid sites exposed on the catalysts and the origin of the strong acidity are also investigated. The catalytic activity of these catalysts towards isopropanol decomposition has been studied and correlated with the acid sites probed.
To accomplish the proposed plan, a wide range of surface and bulk characterization techniques include thermal analysis (tga), uv-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (drs), x-ray diffractometery (xrd), nitrogen adsorption (bet), in-situ ir spectroscopy of adsorbed pyridine, and gas phase isopropanol decomposition in flow system using gas chromatography (gc) technique attached to a flow system
