Abstract Tuberculosis (TB) has become one of the most life threatening health problems all over the world, annually TB infection led to the death of approximately 3 million people world wide. TB infection is a world wide crisis, specifically in the developing countries even with their efforts to control the spreading of the disease, TB remain the major cause of mortality and morbality. It was reported by WHO that the year 1995 showed more people died from TB than any other year in the history-about 6% is among children aged > 15 years, it was also reported that at least ten additional people can be annually infected with TB especially with the appearance of drug-resistant TB strains. |
