Abstract

The present work was planned to study some biochemical alteration in the blood of rats ender the effect of iron, zinc & molybdenum on copper status Sixty three albino rats classified into four group, control group and three group treated with 350 gm/kg iron, 40 mg/kg of zinc and 0.30 mg/kg molybdenum for three weeks & six weeks. The sample of collected blood and serum were subjected to biochemical analysis at the end of 3 weeks & 6 weeks for the following parameters :1-copper .2-molybdenum.3-zinc.4-iron.5-Hb%&PCV.6-cholesterol.7-triglycerides.8-HDL.9-LDL.10-T3.11-T4.12-Ceruplasmin.13-Superoxid dismutase. The result obtained is summerarized as follows:1- Copper show highly significant decreased in the mean values under effect of iron, zinc&molybdenum administration.2- Molybdenum show highly significant increased in the mean under effect of molybdenum administration.3- Zinc show highly significant increased in the mean under effect of zinc administration.4- Iron show highly significant increased in the mean under effect of iron administration.5- Cholesterol show highly significant increased in the mean under effect of zinc, iron & molybdenum administration.6- triglycerides show highly significant increased in the mean under effect of zinc, iron & molybdenum administration.7- HDL show highly significant decreased in the mean under effect of zinc, iron & molybdenum administration.8- LDL show highly significant increased in the mean under effect of zinc, iron & molybdenum administration.9- T3&T4 show highly significant increased in the mean under effect of iron, administration but show highly significant decreased in the mean under effect of, zinc & molybdenum administration.10- Ceruloplasmin show highly significant decreased in the mean under effect of zinc, iron & molybdenum administration.11- Superoxid dismutase show highly significant decreased in the mean under effect of zinc, iron & molybdenum administration12- Hb% & PCV show highly significant decreased in the mean under effect of zinc, iron & molybdenum administration. Conclusion :The obtained data revealed significant changes in the copper level which lead to significant change in some biochemical studies as t3, t4, ceruolplasmin, SOD, lipid profile also in blood hemoglobin are present. This result obtained concluded that iron, zinc and molybdenum administration for long time reduce copper due to interrelationship between them and this interaction causing a serious hazard in growth &general condition of the animal and also in human so we must be give balanced diet which maintenance levels between copper and iron, zinc& molybdenum significant decreased in the mean under effect of zinc, iron & molybdenum administration.12- Hb% & PCV show highly significant decreased in the mean under effect of zinc, iron & molybdenum administration.
