Abstract
Now a days botanical extracts are frequently recommended to control insect pests, particularly those of economic importance. In the present study, an effort was devoted to search for some botanical extracts containing naturally occurring compounds that have insecticidal activities against the Egyptian cotton leafworm, spodoptera littoral is (Boisd).
The objective of this investigation was to test these extracts and record the most effectives which act as natural insecticides that safe to man, animal, and environment when used as alternates to chemical insecticides in controlling the pest.
